Dear Penn Mid-Atlantic Area Ladies’ Uplift Circle,
I am very nervous, yet thankful to God for the opportunity to begin this new challenge as PMA Area Ladies’ Uplift Circle President. I would ask that each of you have a pray in your heart that God would continue to direct our circle as we work for His Church.
As I reflected on the responsibilities that lie ahead, I realized although Sister Connie is small in size, she has left big shoes to fill as each circle president before has done. We, the Penn Mid-Atlantic Area Ladies’ Uplift Circle, have a lot of heritage given to us as the founding region for the circle that exists today. I would ask that we each look at ourselves to determine if we are doing all we can or is there room to do just a little more. Could I make an effort to attend more meetings or be involved in more activities? Could I volunteer to take a position or oversee a project? When you think you can’t, give it to God and He will make it a CAN.
I would ask that you encourage other sisters and friends to attend circle. We have a large number of circle locals that are active, but we still have plenty of room to grow. I look forward with excitement to the days ahead and encourage all of you to be a part of this great work.
